Laurence Anyways by Xavier Dolan has premiere in Sweden September 21

Laurence Anyways is the third movie by the young director Xavier Dolan. He is only 23 years old,  a very good director.

The movie Laurence Anyways is the story of impossible love between a man and a woman after the man decided to have a sex change.

Laurence,  a young teacher, (Melvil Poupaud), writter and soon-to- be-published author. He lives a very good life with his fiancée Fred (Susanne Clément). After his 30th birthday, Laurence confessed to Fred that he thinks to be a woman. He wants her support for the transformation, It is a new situation for Fred, she is very hurt. After a time the relationship is not very good between them and they break up. Laurence sends a copy of his book to Fred...and after five years they meet again.

The movie is very good, wonderful music and beautiful photos. It is the first film that Xavier Dolan isn´t in the film as actor. We remember him in the films J´ai tué ma mère(2009) and Les amours imaginaires(2010).
