The Kulltåget (Swedish) to Stockholm is a colorful event held annually. This year, over 300 people from the Dalarna region, dressed in traditional folk costumes, traveled from their hometowns to the Swedish capital by train. During the day in Stockholm, they walked from the train station to the city center, and after they took a traditional photo in front of the Concert Hall. They enjoyed various events or explored the city.
Kulltåget was created in 2016 by Bittis Stafsudd and Rosa Flank, from Mockfjärd. It began as a day trip to see the cherry blossoms in Kungsträdgården, but It has grown into a very large event with many participants and it has become a tradition of the women and their families to travel to Stockholm and enjoying a joyful and colorful day in the city.
More pictures are coming soon.....
