OrganSpace is Stockholm's international organ festival and it takes place between 14–17 September. Yesterday, September 14, the festival was inaugurated with a concert by Wayne Marshall OBE in the City Hall - - on Scandinavia's largest pipe organ in the Blue hall. (See below the information about Pipe Organ in the City Hall in Stockholm)

Wayne Marshall is a world-class organist and conductor. With an exceptionally varied repertoire, he performs all over the world, and is particularly known for his improvisations. Wayne Marshall was honored with the OBE (Order of the British Empire) – an award Marshall received from Queen Elizabeth II.

It is the fourth time that the festival has been held in the Swedish capital. It is a weekend with many concerts with very good world-class organist.

Pipe Organ in the Blue Hall
The Blue Hall contains a pipe organ known as the Stadshusorgeln (Town Hall pipe organ). It has around 10,000 pipes and is Scandinavia's 2nd largest musical instrument. The town hall organ was a generous donation of 100,000 SEK from engineer Oscar Hirsch. It is installed in a large gilded wooden box under the roof of the Blue Hall.
