The Embassy of the Republic of Botswana celebrated the Independence day in Stockholm

This evening the Embassy of the Republic of Botswana celebrated ist 49th Anniversary of Independence. It was a big celebration at Musikaliska in Stockholm. Botswana became independent from Great Britain on September 30, 1966. The activity began with the national anthem of  Botswana, after Botswanas ambassador Lameck Nthekela opened the celebration with an introduktion about Botswanas historical day. It was a evening with music and dances from Botswana. Many guests attended the celebration.
