The August prize for 2015 was awarded
on november 23 in Stockholm Concert Hall. The winner of the August
Prize: Jonas Hassen Khemeri was awarded for the bok ”Everything I
don´t remember”,(Allt jag inte minns). Karin Bojs was awarded for the Swedish best fiction book "My
European Family. The last 54000 years (Min europeiska familj. De senaste 54 000 åren) and Jessica Schiefauer for Best
Swedish Children’s Book "When the dogs come",(När hundarna kommer).
The prize "Little August prize was also awarded. The winner was Rasmus Bjerkander from Linköping with the bok "Den på intet vis speciella", He received the prize from the hand of Alice Bah Kuhnke, Minister for Culture and Democracy.
