Mommy, a film by Xavier Dolan will show during the Stockholm film Festival


Mommy is a wonderful film by director Xavier Dolan. The film will be showed on november 6th during the Stockholm Film Festival. Xavier Dolan will attend the festival and he will have a Face2Face with the audience. The film has been selected to represent Canada in the for the Best Foreign-Language Film Academy Award 2015.  Xavier Dolan won the Jury Prize at the 67th Cannes Film Festival for Mommy.
A single mother Diane (Anne Dorval) whose has a teenege son Steve (Antoine-Olivier Pilon). Her son is suffering of ADHD and also problem with disorder and hyperactivity. Diane decide to take him back into her home to take care of him after he has been on an institution for people who has problem. She make all to help him. All is difficult for them....A new neighbor Kyla (Suzanne Clément) som live across the street, visited them and she offers her help. Together they want to help Steve.

It is a very good film, wonderful music and beautiful pictures. Xavier Dolan is coing again with a film abaotu the relations between mor and son. Some parts of the film Mommy remind me his first film J’ai tué ma mere.
